Mike is the founder, owner, and active manager of Laurel Real Estate Services, LLC. He has provided services to major regional development firms on several vital projects, and has worked with individual investors to make strategic equity plans in the Pittsburgh real estate market. He also sits on numerous charitable and trust executive boards, and remains active in his local neighborhood and church.
Mike spent the early part of his professional career working in Allegheny County’s Department of Economic Development (ACED) as a project manager and assistant manager. During his time with the County, Mike administered over $35 million in federal, state, and local grants. The unwinding of three major TIF bonds and the implementation of several LERTA districts helped him to develop his strong economic development toolkit. In addition, he provided oversight and technical support to nearly $1.3 billion in project investment in Allegheny County. Major duties included community outreach, public-private partnership initiatives, construction monitoring, grant procurement, funding requisition, and the monitoring of environmental remediation activities on Brownfield sites controlled by the County.
Mike, his wife, and five children live in Pittsburgh’s North Squirrel Hill neighborhood. He grew up in the Pittsburgh area and is an alumnus of Duquesne University where he earned a Bachelors degree in Arts and Sciences, with a major in Political Science & Policy Analysis. He completed his Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh’s Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business.
Vice President of Portfolio Operations
Mike focuses on Laurel’s acquisitions as well as the needs of a select group of private clients throughout metropolitan Pittsburgh and the Northeastern United States. His long-standing relationships, market knowledge, and decades of transactional experience give Mike the expertise to devise insightful solutions tailored to clients’ individual investment goals.
Mike served as Vice President of Hanna LWE (formerly Langholz Wilson Ellis, Inc) and head of their Investment Sales Division for nearly twenty years. He specialized in ’off-market’ transactions for private clients and institutional investors transacting in excess of $900 million of closed deal volume. Prior to his tenure at Hanna LWE, Mike was a partner in Allbrook Property Management, Re/Max Real Estate Executives, Terra Settlement Services, and AAA Appraisal Services. As owner and manager of these ventures, he administered to their overall growth, while continuing to expand his personal production in commercial sales.
A Pittsburgh native, Mike was born and raised in Mt. Lebanon, a neighborhood in Pittsburgh’s South Hills. He received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at Westminster College where he was instrumental in establishing their study abroad program. He now resides in McCandless Township with his wife and five children. He is very active at his children’s school, Aquinas Academy, where he and his wife have been heavily involved in service projects and contributed to the success of many social events and school activities over the past 20 years.

Asset Acquisitions Manager
Andrew is the Asset Acquisitions Manager at Laurel Real Estate Services, LLC. His career at Langholz Wilson Ellis, Inc. (later Hanna LWE), including focus on larger and complex transactions for single-tenant properties to multi-site residential complexes, honed his financial forecasting and analysis skillset. This experience, along with his past sourcing and transacting of more than $200 million worth of property and assets at Hanna LWE, have primed Andrew for this new role.
After graduating from Pittsburgh Central Catholic, Andrew headed to University of Missouri, Columbia to wrestle for the Tigers. There, he received his BSBA in Finance and an emphasis in Real Estate. After returning to Pittsburgh, Andrew met his wife, Maggie, and they now live in Hampton Township with their 3 children, Ruth, Rowan, and Heath.

Director of Property Management
Chris joined the Laurel management team in 2016. He trains, develops, and directly supervises a multitude of site-level managerial teams across Laurel’s portfolio. Chris also is responsible for the Project Management arm of the company which includes the oversight and management of construction, development and renovation endeavors, as well as the conceptualization, planning, and follow-through of capital expenditure ventures for the company. In addition, he serves as the primary source of communication between site level managers and the rest of the executive team, as well as being instrumental in conducting annual research, organization, and initiation of operational and capital expenditure budgets for Laurel’s primary assets each year.
Chris has more than 10 years of experience in the industry managing many different levels and divisions of multi-family housing, as well as familiarity in the fields of building engineering, site maintenance, systems operations and life safety. He also has extensive knowledge in local government, municipal, and city regulations. Chris is a proud graduate of Juniata College, an avid outdoorsman (particularly fly fishing), and revels in contributing to his church and faith and spending quality time among family and friends.

Director of Leasing & Marketing
Tara joined the Laurel management team in early 2020 to focus her expertise on leasing activities at a handful of sites. She has become a dynamo for the company and now directly supervises a multitude of leasing teams to maintain and sustain optimal occupancy across Laurel’s portfolio of managed assets.
Tara’s experience spans more than 10 years in the industry and she has had the fortune of managing and leasing many different levels and divisions of multi-family housing, as well as commercial properties for several large agencies in the Pittsburgh Metro Area.
Tara has earned three college degrees in Management and is a proud mother of two young children, Gavin and Landon, who live in Hempfield Township. Her young family is always on the go; they enjoy staying active, especially outdoors and playing sports whenever possible.

Director of Maintenance
Nik originally joined the Laurel team in 2014 and has earned his role as Regional Maintenance Manager. Nik is responsible for directing and managing several teams across the Laurel portfolio.
He has proven his leadership skills in the industry by holding a steady crew of maintenance professionals and always being open to learn something new. Nik is a life-long Pittsburgher, with over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. He has certifications and skills ranging from heavy equipment operations to OSHA 30 and ASSE backflow testing. Prior to joining the Laurel team, Nik was a self-employed contractor. Nik’s hobbies include spending time with his beautiful family and being in the outdoors.

Mark joined the Laurel team in 2021 to focus his expertise in the accounting and reporting disciplines across Laurel’s growing portfolio, including residential, retail, and office assets, as well as various management and affiliate operations.
Mark’s experience spans more than 30 years in the real estate industry, including accounting for several regional commercial and residential developers, including 10 years of property management and accounting for several retail strip centers totaling over 150,000sf and more than fifty tenants.
Mark earned his undergraduate degree from Duquesne University while completing ROTC. As a member of the U.S. Army Reserve, Mark was deployed in support of Operation Desert Storm.
